Its that time of year yet again, the 8th of December for the last two years has been the busiest day in the world of online business. People simply go crazy filling up store cards ad credit cards with money they don’t have and probably cant afford.
Our kids don’t need 30 presents to unwrap on Christmas morning, they don’t need hundreds of pounds spent on them to be confused about what to play with, they need presents that create opportunity for us to get down and spend time with them, building something with them, creating a new thing, making them feel they have accomplished something – while at the same time creating a stronger father – son/daughter, mother – son/daughter relationship.
If you take a few moments and consider your best memory collection from years gone by, i bet most of them are filled with someone spending time with you, making you feel important, valuable or just special for being who you are. Most of my treasured memories are created by TIME, moments that no gift or value of money could buy or equal.
So why is it we seem to fall into the commercial extravaganza instead of investing the ingredient of TIME into our homes and families, we must create memories that we can look back on in years to come and not regret those periods like Christmas breaks, summer holidays, Easter holidays when we had the opportunity to grow ‘lifelong strong friendships’ with our families and our Kids, The best present any child will get this Christmas is Love and Time from their parents.
Lets create memories this Christmas!
