Thanks for you comment, in response can you see how dull everything would be without music? music is a big part of life for many, its a big part of Gods house, so i think its a good thing to have talented people use their Gifts to bring Glory to Gods name, as for the way some live out their lives, thats something the indiviuals may need approached about by fellow believers as that is every christians responsibility to watch out for their brothers ans sisters in Christ, the fact is we need to live for lives in this world but need to be set apart from the sin that claws so many back in its grip, sin has a way of spoiling things for churches and individuals, but believe me for everyone there will come a time in their walk with God when they will cry, "All to Jesus I surrender", for some it takes a real encounter/experience with God, for others the death of a loved one, maybe an accident, but i would leave this in Gods hand, everyday God is showing me things i need to get right, or improve on, over short periods of time i see little change but when i look back 5 or 10
years i see major changes, if you want to email me again please do on philipkstone@gmail.com, God bless you in your journey through life, My prayer for you is that you would have a God encounter someday soon!

Hi Phil I am not a Christian and I was not brought up in a Christian home but I was sent to sunday school twice a day and to church I know what I need to do to get to heaven but haven't made that commitment.
I have a lot of friends who go to your church and are baptised and profess to be Christians but they are living the same life as me. I know most of them would not be there only for the happy clapping music. I believe if you didn't have that you would not have so many in your church. Also they seem to think it is alright to go out and do the worldy things and then just to go home and ask God to forgive them for it. No one is perfect and we all know that but I was brought up to believe you ask God into your heart and he forgives your sins but you don't go on with those sins and then ask him to forgive them over and over again. It seems to me most Christians today are living a double life none of it for God just one for the Pastor and one for themselves. My Mother and Father became Christians and I saw them live the Christian life and it was nothing like the life so called Christians are living today yes we live in a differnet society now but the bible is the same we cannot change that to suit the times. I am not slagging your church at all just stating what I know to be true. I know I should not look at these people but look above but it is all a farse and it is more like worshipping the pastor like a fan club. Please don't take this as knocking your church but in reference to the Florida thing it is not far removed. I read about you wee son Ben accepting God into his life and that is great and to have a dad like you to show him the real Christian life.

yeah. i quite agree with you, phil. it's not just to slag or belittle this happening, it might be fully of GOD's glory. but because it's so focused on one man and one man's ways, it seems unlike CHRIST and how HE healed people. perhaps a chance for us to examine our hearts and response to this and understand why we're reacting - maybe to accept GOD works in ways we don't always agree with, or maybe to understand that GOD is consistent with HIMSELF.
