Training up our kids!
So The Speed of life continues to scare me, sorry for the lack of blogging in 2008, i feel empty of any inspiration or encouragement in 2008, Instead my time is spent between work, Amy and Kids, I just love being at home every night at present (well most nights), Its these years I’ve been told that we never get back, so enjoy your kids while the are young and wanting your attention and time, its an investment that will reap benefits til your dying breath.
Life is busy, but now at a manageable pace thankfully, Work is busy, Home is fun and exciting, having taken our home off the market we’ve decided to do a few minor home improvements, so its nice to have a few projects going on at home at present.
This Sunday we will be dedicating charlie in church, along with a few other children, Its exciting but also a little scary realising the responsibility of a christian parent to ‘train a child in the way they should go’, the fact is the kids know the real me, the person that no-one outside my home will probably ever see, they see the daddy that maybe sometimes has a bad day at work and comes home in a horrible mood, they see the daddy that sometimes has to discipline or take things away from them temporarily to help them learn to do the ‘right’ thing, I have to live a life in front of them that hopefully inspires them to be like me in years to come, I have to make myself a role model that surpasses all other possible role models, the fact is I have to live an honest, pure life that lets Jesus Love shine through our family in every way possible – now that’s a Hugh responsibility!
Maybe over the next weeks I’ll feel inspired to start writing more often,Bless You all – Phil
Please remember Alain and the Anderson Family in your prayers one year on from Lindsay’s Passing.

Hey Phil
I think you are a fantastic role model to your kids and that they are well blessed to have you.
