"So that others may Live"
I had the opportunity to sit down and watch a great movie tonight with Amy – ‘The Guardian’, What a great story about the daily realities faced by the coastguards in America.
The motto of these men and women is a simple sentence that has absolutely no signs of selfish ambition or greed – “So that others may Live”
When I heard this motto it brought tears to my eyes as I realised the potential We Christians have to allow others to live in the eternal sense, God has saved us and wants to use every believer to become a fisher of men, one who will help rescue those facing a lost eternity by pointing them in the direction of the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ.
We have the knowledge and testimony of a cure for the deadliest disease mankind has ever known, Sin can we washed away, it can be cured, but we must realise its not about just us four and no more, this is for everyone, no exclusions!, I’m sure you like me do not want to see any friends, family members, work colleagues or those we just happen to know die without Christ in their hearts and lives, how could you ever get over the fact that you knew what they needed and didn’t pass it on?
The challenge is to unconditionally spread the name and message and power of the name of Jesus, the hope it brings to the lost, the needy, the insecure, the broken, the weary, the hurt, another words EVERYONE!
Don’t be scared into a corner, don’t live life with the light under a Bushel, Shine for God so that others may live!
