A New Dawn awaits us!
The 31st of December 2007 is upon us, another year has flown by, a year full of trials and success’s, for some it has had mountain top experiences and for many others its been probably the worst year of their lives, but at the end of this year I’m sitting looking out my back window asking myself what has changed for me? What has been positive for me in 2007? What things do I want to leave behind and what do I want to build on in 2008? I get quite emotional around new years, for me it feels like I’m leaving parts of me behind, and taking risks going into the future.
2008 has a major change for my little family with the expected arrival in early February of our third child, we’ve had the name books out over the last number of days drawing up possible names for a boy or a girl. (why we do this I don’t know, We’ve yet to use a name found on any baby names list we draw up)
Looking into a new year brings many challenges, ambitions, hopes and plans but the one thing I need to invest more time & energy in, is the voice and word of God, For me 2007 seems to have had ‘excuses’ written over everything, sometimes its to easy to use situations your in to try to escape doing what you know deep inside needs to be done. I’m not going to highlight my planned changes but the only advice i will leave you, ‘write stuff that is possible and do it in small steps not in giant leaps’.
Great Years are made up of a collection of Great Days, So lets face one day at a time and put all our energy into making this the best year yet!
May I take this opportunity to wish everyone that ever stops by on this blog a God Filled Year in 2008 in your Health, Family, Career, Relationships and everything you turn your hand to.
May this be your Greatest Year Yet.
God Bless
