Moaning Society
Have you ever noticed the level of complaint in our society, ok sometimes there are good grounds for one to show their frustration at poor, slow or an unprofessional service, but of late I seem to have come in contact with people who have spent years getting to were they are in society and now at the click of their finger tips they expect something done, Shop keepers to them are slaves and servants instead of someone assisting them in their purchase decision.
We grumble when the weather is bad, when the person in front of us goes through a red light, (which I think is justified), we find fault in people when life is going well for them instead or encouraging them to continue in their success. Of Late I’ve been asking a simple question when people come into my mind “Is there anyway I can help them?” Sometimes people need tools to assist them, others need advice, some need a few quid, a pat on the back, a cuppa coffee,
I’m going to be very honest in saying that I’ve always been a critic towards successful people, at their actions, reactions, lifestyles, sometimes its been hard to see others do better than me, but over this past few months I’m realising that God has blessed them in different ways than He has blessed me, God wants me to use what He has given me, He wants me to use ‘What’s in my hand’ God wants me to be Phil Stone, To have my own identity, we talk about the fastest growing crime in the UK at the minute – identity theft, well in trying to be like others we are stealing others characteristics and traits by copying their ways, the problem comes when we copy others but don’t have the resources to be those people and then that’s why people get depressed, Just look at the Celebrity culture that millions of teenagers and adults try to live.
