A Torn & Broken World
Have you ever had something happen to you ’a little close to home’, then all of a sudden you notice that ‘you are not alone’. As many who read this know I sell Stone among other products, And yes I do know that my surname is that as well ; ) But every day I am talking to people who have been exposed to the rawness of grief, Parents who have lost infants, Wives who have lost Husbands, Husbands who have lost Wives, children who have lost parents, Truth be told I almost at times feel guilty that I don’t give them the stones for free, just something in me wants to help them in a little way, just to give them a moment to smile, a happy thought, a gesture of kindness that may give a small glimmer of hope.
So many people live in their grief, and there is nothing wrong with that as one needs to process it, but hope can only come from outside that grief. Thankfully to this point in life I have not lost someone very close to me and nothing would ever prepare me or anyone for that, I’m watched so many close to me lose people very near to them and boy it looks almost impossible, but I’ve seen them all in time prove the comfort, grace and hope of God, but today my thought is to bless those who mourn, If it pleases God to bless them then I think we need to align our focus and direction with His and do His will in Blessing those who mourn as often as we can, If it makes them smile for 1 second, its worth the effort!
