Why am I not Blessed?
Have you ever asked the question above? or maybe thought it, or maybe had the question form in some shape or form in your head, before hearing the religious voice in your head tell you not to think that?
We all have have times when we feel low, or discouraged but heres a Verse for anyone that Believes in God and maybe is going through a tough patch…
Psalm 84:12 – How blessed is the man who trusts in You!
For any females out there that includes You!
How amazing that Just because we choose God we are Blessed, we don’t need to earn it, we don’t need to complete a course, Just Accept Him as Lord and Saviour of Our lives!
Next time you are down just remind your self that those who Trust in God are Blessed!

Appreciation of Love
Hmmm, to think i’ve put a hundred posts on this blog, well this one is just one of those some may say silly observations.
As i left the Ward tonight were Amy & Maddie are staying, i could feel the tears and emotion welling up inside, i couldn’t get to the door quick enough to go hide in my car. When you’ve been married a while the reality of having a night alone not to mention 2 is tough, Tough to come to an empty home where the heart of the home isn’t there.
Tonight I can’t imagine what the world would be without Amy, And I’m sure many husbands out there could say the same!
I can’t even comprehend what it must be like for those who no longer have their wife or husband. Enjoy what You have when You have it! Cause when they are gone, you can’t go back!
Maddie update: Blood test clear, took a full 6oz bottle tonight, off the drip now, homeward bound tomorrow all being well. Nite Nite

Why?
What a year, can anything else go wrong! I am so thankful I can put my trust in the Lord! I’m so thankful I have a hope and a Godly peace when tough times and trials come my way. As i watched maddie in Hospital last night as they tested her little body I just wanted to run and hide and Cry! What has this family done in 2006 to deserve another attack? Well I’ve news for the devil, He’s gonna lose more ground, cause I’m committed to serving God til Death takes me from this earth.
The Human in me wants to blame someone, the God within me wants to calm me and bring peace to my life! Remember when you go through tough times keep focused on God! He’s Worth every second of attention and deserves it!
Pray to Him – Don’t Blame Him,
Don’t Hide – But Seek Him
Renew Your strength in him
And HE WILL Give You Peace!
Maddie hopefully will get out of hospital tonight or tomorrow morning, mother and child are both well, Amy is pretty tired though! Thanks for Texts and Prayers!

Holding Hands
On Saturday I enjoyed the teaching of a Guy by the name of Laurence Singlehurst as He spoke on various things relating to Cell. During his talk He Mentioned a Phrase that did something within.
In talking about evangelism and Cell He mentioned about how as believers we need to be Loving God with our Hearts and holding Hands with Seekers(The Lost), If we are holding Hands with Seekers then that is possibly the only way that that person will be able to get to know Jesus. A Startling Stastic was mentioned that 70% of New Believers are brought accross the Line of salvation with the help of a friend.
My challenge to You and myself today is “Whose hands are You holding?”
If your not holding hands then maybe you don’t really care that people are going to hell? Or Maybe You have never thought about it in that way?, the fact is that if we all took the Call of God To Go and Tell People about Jesus Seriously that Every church hall would probably be full in our town, that New Fellowhips would be starting everywhere. So often we hear preachers say that Revival starts in our hearts, well I think we could add to that,
Revival Starts in our hearts then moves us to Hold hands with the Lost!

Creating Space
In life we all have a lot on, we are all busy people, to busy to slow down, to busy to stop, sometimes to busy to rest. Sometimes I ask questions like how does a President run a country and yet be a family man, same for Billionaire business Men, Travelling Preachers, and the list would be endless of those in top Jobs.
How do they do it? How does one have a decent time with God everyday, Gym a few times a week, manage a few family nights a week, commit to committies, board meetings, and other engagements?
This morning I am reminded of a series of Preaching from Paul Scandlon – Abundant Life were He talks about Creating Space. A Very good series if anyone wants the lend of it. In the series Paul talks about how we need to create SPACE.
SPACE in Work
SPACE in Home
SPACE in Family
SPACE in Quiet Times
SPACE in Church
SPACE in our Schedules
SPACE in Every Area of our Lives!
Why?
If we dont create space in these areas nothing is going to change!
God needs us to give him space! You can’t pour anything into an already full Glass! You need to create Space! So if You want to create Space in Your life something is going to have to give, Today get a piece of paper and write down everything you spend your time doing Sunday to Sunday and today start creating Space for God, Family & Friends and Hobbies! – We need all three in Life in my opinion!
