Refiners Fire
You are the purifier and refiner of my life (Mal 3:3)
Its a well know fact that God can only use Clean and Yielded vessels. But sometimes I look at my life and wonder – Have I been refined lately? Everyday I Pray to God, somedays more than others but one verse that I wake with nearly every morning is
Psalm 24v4-5 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the LORD And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
So we need to be clean before God, but God wants us to be refined as well.

So Yes they both overlap a wee bit, but heres my thought at the minute, Being purified deals with the NOW, Being refined deals with Now and FOREVER? We can debate this but Malachi 3 refers to the fact that we need purified and refined, so be encouraged to make our “living sacrifice” a worthy one!
