Amy Loves Kinder surprises, so much so that Ben now loves them to! But I have to be honest, I am not one for having patience when it comes to surprises! Some people love the wrapping on the surprise, others like the chocolate around the surprise, then most of us like the actual surprise!
Sometimes when I think about the second coming just like last night when Alan was speaking in church, its another surprise that I can’t wait to see it happen, or to be a part of it. It’s so hard sometimes to have eternal eyes. In marketing there is an untaught rule that seeing in believing, but in Gods right way up kingdom Believing is seeing!
I’m just gonna have to wait for God to decide its time to pull the curtain on this play called “time”.
“But how long am I gonna have to wait to see other surprises that occur when faith is put into action! “
Isn’t it funny how we want results and we want them now, whereas God just wants Us and wants us now!
There’s something about surprises, they keep our attention and focus! Who is the Surprise in your life today? Whoever it is will consume most of your Thinking time!
Let God today be the one who Surprises You by totally putting all Your faith in Him!
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven– A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing. A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace.
God’s Hand
Sometimes…
We must be hurt in order to grow;
We must fail in order to know,
We must lose in order to gain.
Some lessons are learned bestOnly through pain.
Sometimes…
Our vision clears Only after our eyes are Washed with tears.
Sometimes…
We have to be broken, So we can be tender,
Sick so we can rest and think better;
On things more important Than work or fun;
Trip near death, So we can assess how we’ve run.
Sometimes…
We have to suffer lack, So we can know God’s provision,
Feel another’s pain, So we can have a sense of mission.
So take heart, my friend,
If you don’t understand today,Instead of grumbling,
Ask God what He means to say, In order to learn you must endure,
And learn to see the bigger picture.
In order to grow, you must stand;
Look beyond the hurt To God’s loving hand That takes what is good,
And gives what is best,
And on this blessed thought, rest:
As your anxious heart, With questions, waits,
God’s hand only gives What His loving heart dictates.
Sometimes the Lord calms the storm;
Sometimes He lets the storm rage…And calms His child.
Better the storm with Christ…Than smooth waters without Him.

What a terrifying age to live in! So much sin, so many have abondoned themselves to a “sin culture” Where you do what you like, to who you like, when you like and how you like!
Yesterday i was informed was, wait for it “National Swearing Day”, How polluted the island once known as the “land of Saints and Scholars” has become! Was reading Romans Ch1 this morning and boy did it some up the “sin culture” in This we island, not to mention this whole earth!
I recently heard of a remote part of the jungle in Brazil, Westerners had found a part of the jungle where generations of people had lived, without knowing they needed to wear clothes, and more or less they were living in the “Garden of Eden Life – without sin” (They didn’t know about God at this stage) There had never been a history of medical problems, never any murderes, never any sort of crime. Westerners came in and soon began to teach that it was so shameful to be naked, that they needed to eat “proper healthy foods”, that they needed to trade their “productivity” with the west, that they needed to get connected to the world!
Not to long after the westerners had made many changes the crime rate increased, murders started to happen, the first cancer patient was spotted, and really sin Culture had invaded this one time “almost perfect” community.
Isn’t it weird how we think of society as we know it to be “good”, “acceptable”, “Almost Godly”, yet when we look closely at society there really are so many sins that we struggle with, for me Materialism is one of the biggest sins that Christians in the west struggle with the most – The need to have the best of everything!
Guys and Girls, I don’t know about you but over the past 5 months God has really challeneged me about purity, the need to live a Clean life, in all aspects, As Philip often says we need to keep short accounts with God – What wisdom!
Let us keep short accounts with God that draw us away from Sin Culture to a Pure Culture!
What a busy week! What a tiring week! I came into work this morning feeling the way I should when i go home at night – wrecked, so when one is in need of strength how refreshing to come to God’s word, so here are a few “Strength” verses for you and me to enjoy! Be Blessed!
